Äripäev/Bonnier Group publishes English-language bi-weekly business reports news2biz ESTONIA, news2biz LATVIA, news2biz LITHUANIA, news2biz POLAND and news2biz CHINA.
The publishing rights of news2biz newsletters were acquired in October 2009 from the Danish media company Northroup Newsletters, which had provided market intelligence about Poland since 1991, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia since 1996, and China since 2003. The report on Ukraine was added to the portfolio by Äripäev in September 2010 and removed in May 2011.
news2biz reports are compiled by full-time on-site journalists in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, China and Sweden.
AS Äripäev
The beginning of Äripäev goes back to 1989 when the firm’s flagship publication, the Estonian business daily Äripäev, began publishing.
Today, Äripäev is the most read media channel among the country’s decision makers. It also is one of the centers of investigative reporting in Estonia, and the winner of five Bonnier prizes for investigative journalism (Estonian equivalent of Pulitzer).
The company also has many other products, such as Russian-language weekly Delovõje Vedomosti, Medical News, several topical websites, books and handbooks, seminars and training events. The firm currently employs about 200 people.

Bonnier Group
Bonnier was established in 1804 and has grown into Scandinavia's largest media concern, a multi-channel media company operating in 175 companies across 20 countries. The Bonnier Group is fully owned by the Bonnier family, handed down through eight generations.

John Bo Northroup founds Northroup Newsletters in Copenhagen and begins to publish the first business report, Nyhedsbrevet POLEN (Newsletter POLAND) in Danish.

Swedish version of Nyhedsbrevet POLEN is launched.

The parallel launch of business reports on Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in Swedish and Danish.

All four business reports (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) published in English.

| 2000 |
Website www.news2biz.com is launched, the name of all four publications changes to news2biz.

| 2001 |
news2biz reports are published on-line. By now, they have subscribers in more than 15 countries.

| 2003 |
Northroup Newsletters launches a business report on China, news2biz CHINA, in Danish and Swedish.

| 2004 |
English version of news2biz CHINA is launched.

| 2009 |
The publishing rights of news2biz are acquired by Bonnier Group, Scandinavia's largest media concern. The daily publication of news2biz is carried out by AS Äripäev, the Bonnier Group company in Tallinn. The core team of news2biz on-site journalists in six different countries stays onboard. news2biz begins publishing in English only.
