TOP STORIES
- Estonians signed a total EUR 15m worth of contracts within the offset agreement with MBDA and SAAB who sold Estonia the missile defence system Mistral. Hanza Tarkon, Regio, Cargotec's Narva plant and LDI were just a few firms capitalising from the agreement. Read more here

- The total volume of Estonian advertising market increased by 9.4% year-on-year to EUR 72.2m, according to the market research firm TNS Emor. After two years of decline, the market started to grow again, mainly pulled up by increased advertising in the Internet, TV and radio.

- A total of 2.7m tourists were accommodated in Estonian accommodation facilities in 2011, marking a new record high level for the tourism sector. While the overall number of visitors grew by 13.5% year-on-year in 2011, that of foreign tourists increased by 15.6%.
