Undiscouraged by Europe's depressed automotive market, Japanese tire manufacturer Bridgestone has embarked on a major expansion of its factory in Stargard Szczecinski in Poland's northwest. The EUR 120m project will create 160 new jobs and boost the plant's truck and radial tire capacity to 3,750 units a day.
